The single most important fact about silverchair would have
to be the fact that they are the best band ever [ok, I've had my fun.. continue]

 Ben Gillies' mother worked in the caf at Newcastle High

 On May 23rd, 96, in Newcastle silverchair got so bored of
their own name that they called themselves the Camel Mothers and Ben had Camel
Mothers written across the bass drum of his kit

 After the ARiA's in 1997, Daniel had to get home quickly to
get his puffer because his asthma was acting up... again

 Daniel Johns has a tattoo on his right ankle supporting 
animal liberation, it is black and is of an eagle's head with Animal Liberation written
over it
 Chris, Ben and Daniel are all very short, none of them exceed 5'10

 Daniel believes in aliens

 At a show in Germany Daniel had to piss so bad that be just
dropped his guitar, ran off the stage and left Ben and Chris stunned with nothing to
tell the crowd

 Daniel would like to go to art school after things are over with
silverchair

 Chris used to help coach an under 7 soccer team

 Ben and Daniel once convinced Chris that an orange crayon was 
cheese and he actually ate it! (they were very young, year 3 or 4)

 Chris and Ben lived on the same street at one point

 One time the chair was so bored in the hotel they melted
chocolate bars on Watson's toilet seat.. LMAO

 The first version of Tomorrow was originally recorded in
1993, and was 6-7 mins. long

 silverchair have songs older than the songs on Frogstomp 
which they don't particulary like so they decided never to put them on an album, 
or even bother to properly record them. Titles of these songs incule:

 The first song silverchair ever completed was "I Felt Like It"

 "I Believe" was an introduction to Pure Massacre in 1995, it never 
fully developed into a full song, but you never know it may come out one day with 
those other unreleased silverchair songs.

 A song called "Without You" was recorded during the Neon Ballroom 
sessions and has yet to be released, or even planned to be released, the guys are waiting 
for a soundtrack offer or something along those lines, expect it in 2000.

 Daniel is wearing no socks on Saturday Night Live in 1995

 Some of the lyrics on silverchair's 1997 release, Freak Show had
to be changed because they were thought to be too controversial [my ass], and there
was even a song that was not recorded due to the fact that it may receive negative
media and jezuz we all know that's not something silverchair needs

 If you pause a certain part in the "Abuse Me" video you can see
Ben giving the camera the bird... yes another piece of useless info, 
but hey some people may not know

 This one may shock you, I was like WHAT?!?!?!, but in Australia,
three 13 year old girls had a dream, that dream was to get from Dubbo to Newcastle 
to see silverchair play in Newcastle, sounds like a typical silverchair fan's dream 
right? Well, these girls managed to steal $26,000 from one of their father's safe, 
yes, $26,000 to get across the country and make their dream come true, they were 
reported missing and found on a Greyhound Bus. They never lived the dream and were 
charged, sucks to get caught after all that trouble.

 Daniel currently has a Backstreet Boys sticker that says "I'll
Never Break Your Heart" on it, on his Green Les Paul, the sticker is shiny and covered
in hearts.

 Chris can play drums + guitar + bass, so how's that for all you
people who think he's good for nothing!

 Johnsy spent over $4000 AUS on movies in 1998, and that's the only
the first couple of months in 1998!

 Since silverchair hate their song "Cicada" [they're crazy, that song
rocks!] they donated it to "Crappiest Songs of Our Time", a poll that was held by Kerrang

 If you have the power to play a song backwards on your computer and 
you play Abuse Me backwards it sounds like Daniel's saying "No it wasn't, Yes it was"

 In 1999 silverchair kicked so much ass in the Aussie Rolling
Stone Readers Poll, they finished with winning and being runners up in the following
